Nokia x6 sells out in minutes again under second flash sale exercise

The Nokia x6 has been gaining a lot of love in the market since its launch. Earlier in the week, the HMD-owned company announced that they were able to sell off all units of the x6 that went on flash sale in a matter of 10 seconds.

Today again, the company is back with another news of the same calibre which sees the device sell out in another flash sale in China. However, for both sale exercises, they have not released details as to the number of devices that actually got sold.

From everything we have heard of this unit, it is not a surprise why it would be a darling of the market. Interested users are given the chance to pick between three different colour options of Blue, Black and Silver.

On top of that, they are then given an additional three internal configuration options to consider. The base of the pack carries 4GB paired with 32GB, the next one takes on 4GB with 64GB of storage while the top of the line model features as much as 6GB RAM on a 64GB ROM pack.

No matter which one the user goes for, they will get the same 5.8-inch screen with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch on top of it. While a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 is at the heart of affairs, a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top prevents the phone from getting minor scratches and breakages from every drop.

Shipping with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, the unit allows memory expansion of up to 256GB with the dedicated microSD card slot on board. For cameras, we have a dual 16MP + 5MP sensor on the back and a 16MO snapper up front for selfies. Keeping the rear cameras company is a LED flash and fingerprint sensor for added security. Powered by a 3060mAh battery, Nokia sure keeps its reputation for great batteries on this one.

Given that the flash sales are still going on in China for now though, it might be a while before the unit launches to other parts of the world. When that does happen, we will be waiting for it.
